Yoga & Yoga Therapy
one-on-one
Private yoga sessions are perfect for anyone that wants individualized attention. Clients are put on a monthly membership and can book either 4 or 8 sessions per month.
Yoga therapy is a separate branch of yoga that involves additional credentialing and specialized training to work with those with health challenges. Yoga therapy often brings relief where other methods do not. It can be very beneficial for spinal problems, structural issues that cause pain, and health conditions that are exacerbated by stress. Yoga therapy can also be a next step after physical therapy to get you back to your favorite activity and sports sooner.

Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) delivers focused acoustic shockwaves to the injured area, which can help to break down calcified deposits, increase blood flow and circulation, stimulate the production of new tissue and promote healing, reduce pain and improve function. Some people feel results right away and need as few as two or three treatments over six to 12 weeks for complete healing and lasting symptom resolution. More challenging issues will require more treatments. Each treatment plan is designed around the individual. The best part of ESWT is that if it is going to work, it likely will start working immediately after the first treatment. Most people find some pain relief after the first session. Sessions are spaced 3-14 days apart. ESWT is not covered by insurance.
How it works:
- A device delivers high-energy acoustic waves through the skin to the injured area.
- These waves stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms.
- Some studies show that ESWT promotes the self-renewal of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
- The ability of ESWT to stimulate stem cells has led to its exploration for various conditions, including tissue regeneration, wound healing, and cartilage repair.
- The waves also stimulate the release of growth factors and growth hormones, which promote tissue regeneration.
- Shockwave therapy can also reduce pain and inflammation.
Mechanisms:
- The mechanical force of the shockwaves promotes healing by stimulating cell activity and tissue regeneration.
- Angiogenesis: Shockwaves promote the formation of new blood vessels, improving blood flow to the injured area.
- Inflammation Regulation: Shockwaves can help reduce inflammation by modulating the release of inflammatory mediators.
- Pain Relief: Shockwaves can relieve pain by stimulating the release of endorphins and inhibiting pain signals.

Highly Recommend Her Classes or Private Lesson
“I recently suffered a herniated L5 S1 disc in my back. Physical therapy has done wonders. Though I still was not feeling as I did before the injury. Rebecca has custom-tailored workouts for me & I feel great after I am done. I have lifted weights as well for about the last 12 years but her workouts have found muscles I never knew I had. I definitely have a new outlook & appreciation for yoga. I would highly recommend her classes or private lesson she really knows her stuff.
